With so much happening in the cybersecurity industry, it is imperative to catch up with our industry colleagues to discuss new cybersecurity trends and happenings. June was a busy month for our team on the events front. Let us look at some of the events we attended recently:
SydneySEC
Red Piranha's Mike Rogan and Brian Williams had a fantastic time at SydneySec.
It was a pleasure connecting with our friends in the industry. These interactions are invaluable as we continue to enhance our strategies and solutions in the fight against cyber threats.
ACS WA Tech Summit 2024
Our CEO, Adam Bennett, shared his thoughts on 'Detecting All the Things, like Advanced Persistent Threats (APTs)' at the ACS WA Tech Summit 2024.
Joined by our Business Development Managers, Daniel Henderson and Dayna Bennett, the Red Piranha team enjoyed a day of insightful sessions and networking with the ACS (Australian Computer Society) WA Community.
The half-day event, "Bridging the Future," featured highly regarded industry speakers who focused on two pressing topics: cybersecurity and Data/AI.
Australia Southeast Asia Business Exchange
Adam Bennett, CEO of Red Piranha, joined as a delegate in Jakarta for the Australia Southeast Asia Business Exchange.
In this two-day event, he engaged with the Special Envoy to Southeast Asia, Mr. Nicholas Moore, and representatives from the KADIN Indonesia (Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry) Kota Depok, the Australian Government Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and Austrade. On day two, the Indonesia Landing Pad was officially launched by DFAT and Austrade, with the Ambassador to Indonesia, Ms Penny Williams PSM, and Lauren Adams, Australia’s Trade and Investment Commissioner, officiating the ceremony.
This event provided a valuable opportunity to reconnect with our partners from Professtama.
Adam showcased our cutting-edge technology at the Australia Southeast Asia Business Exchange. The event brought together integrating partners and ICT leaders from government and industry sectors in Jakarta.
Sovereign Cyber Capability Unlocked Event
Adam Bennett, CEO of Red Piranha, presented at the Sovereign Cyber Capability Unlocked event in Canberra. Lieutenant General Michelle McGuinness, National Cyber Security Coordinator, delivered a keynote address outlining the strategic direction for a cyber-resilient nation and positioning Australia to respond effectively to the opportunities and challenges of the digital age.
In conjunction with this event, the government will be introducing new legislation to enhance sovereign capabilities. As a pioneer in Australia's cybersecurity landscape, we proudly represent cutting-edge, Australian made cybersecurity technology that demonstrates true sovereign capability. This event and the accompanying legislative initiatives underscore our commitment to enhancing Australia's cybersecurity posture on a global scale.
