About the role

Are you cyber security enthusiast with strong interpersonal skills who is passionate about sales and customer experiences? Do you have a can-do attitude and a proven track record of delivering results?

We are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager who understands the importance of customer-care, networking, lead generation and client management. Additionally, you will have some technical knowledge and a great attention to detail to ensure our current and future clients receive the best customer service and cyber security protections.

You will be responsible for:

  • Lead identification, follow-up activities, client profiling and setting up meetings
  • End-to-end sales process execution i.e. booking meetings, conducting meetings and all follow-ups
  • Secure sales and ongoing service contracts from new and existing customers with a solution-sales mindset
  • Manage new product presentations and product training with current or potential clients
  • On-site visits with potential or current clients to gain detailed understandings of their needs.
  • Provide technical product advice and support on products and services
  • CRM client account management
  • Exceed the minimum sales targets for products and services
  • Collaborate with technical staff and customer success managers to ensure the best customer experience possible is delivered to all clients

The role requirements:

  • Proven experience in a solutions sale’s environment
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving abilities
  • Strong interpersonal skills and rapport-building abilities
  • Proven track record of delivering results and achieving outcomes and targets
  • Knowledge of CRM account management systems
  • Strong computer literacy skills
  • Passion for technology and cyber security, and the ability to pick up technical details quickly
  • Outstanding organization and administration skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and within a team
  • International or interstate travel may be required
  • Prior experience in technology sales preferred
